Big Grizzly
Creek is one of the most enduring fishing environments
in the Sierras, thanks to its rushing water, boulder
outcroppings and varied tree cover. It runs along
the western border of the property from Lake Davis
to the middle fork of the Feather River, and is accessible
from the community’s hiking and biking trail
system.
If you’re just getting your feet wet, you’re
in luck. There’s a stocked fishing pond right
next to the Lake House designed specifically for novice
anglers and those who want to practice their casting
techniques. Here youngsters and adults alike can enjoy
a safe, convenient introduction to fly- fishing. When
you’re ready to tackle bigger fish, you’ll
find a wealth of them in the abundant lakes and streams
of Eastern Plumas County.
